Regional bias

Read this 2002 Ram Guha article on Kerala cricket here. It needs to be updated to include a para on Sree.

Excellent. Ananthapadmanabhan began well, even through the age-groups. Things didn't work out well for him.

Sree will certainly be the highlight but I also feel SR Nair might also merit mention.

Tinu Yohannan has indeed become a forgotten man of Indian cricket. He can't be that old, can he? I mean he must still have some cricketing years left in him.

Abey, Ottayan, played for India, and toured the Windies too, if I remember correct. But he was never a Kerala player, Malayali though he may have been. Like all good Malayalis, he is now in the Gulf, and coaches the UAE team.
