Could someone confirm this..

..because I am just too lazy. Apparently, is Sauravda scores a hundred tomorrow (or in the 2nd innings), he will join Greg Chappel as the only two players to have played (x) number of Tests and scored a hundred in their first and last matches.

Is it true? If it is, how fkin ironic is that?

john, there's more irony - around that infamous Dada drop, their careers were eerily similar in many ways - no. of tests played, captained, catches etc. was all set to do a piece on that, but left it in pieces.
see if i can dig out that file, with the stats comparison at that point.

oops... I forgot he missed the 100. Sorry got confused with the earlier one... maybe for fun, he should not have played the last test.
